Corporate Lawyer
Responsibilities
- Participate in the creation of the normative legal document base related to the company’s operations.
- Ensure the preparation and distribution of standard contract forms for agreements with the company’s partners to relevant departments.
- Conduct legal expertise on contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Provide legal support for products and services, including conducting legal reviews and assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of drafts for the company’s orders, decisions, power of attorney, and letters.
- Implement legal support for labor and tax relations within the company.
- Represent the company before law enforcement, judicial, and other government agencies within the scope of authority, responding to inquiries received from these entities.
- Participate in the development of departmental charters and internal procedures, checking the legality of prepared documents.
- Complete other assignments as directed by the department director.
Requirements
- Higher education in law.
- Ability to work with caution and precision, withstand pressure, collaborate effectively in a team, and possess strong analytical thinking skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field within financial services companies.
- Ability to understand business processes accurately.
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani and Russian; ability to work with MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Must have a flawless citizenship record.
- Should be able to legally substantiate claims and provide practical assistance in resolving issues.
- Adherence to labor and internal discipline regulations is mandatory.
- Confidentiality regarding commercial secrets must be maintained.
- Compliance with occupational safety, technical security, sanitation, and fire protection norms and regulations is required.
