Leading Card Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day card operations and support the implementation of new card products and features.
- Coordinate and maintain close collaboration with Mastercard and other key payment partners.
- Monitor card performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and international card scheme standards.
- Prepare and analyze reports related to card transactions, operations, and performance.
- Participate in system testing, product enhancements, and process optimization projects.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to internal teams regarding card operations, payments, and processing flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in card operations, preferably within the banking or fintech sector.
- Proven experience working with Mastercard (e.g., product management, operations, or partnerships).
- Strong understanding of card payment systems, transaction processing, and card scheme rules.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (both written and verbal).
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
