Senior Data Scientist
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, independently solving complex data-related problems.
- Design and develop end-to-end data science solutions, from initial analysis and model development to deployment, optimizing for performance and scalability. This includes creating models tailored to optimizing ad targeting, bid strategies, and campaign performance analysis.
- Collaborate with both technical and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions and insights, particularly focusing on enhancing advertising effectiveness and ROI.
Maintain and optimize existing data processing pipelines and machine learning models, with a strong emphasis on applications within the ad-tech ecosystem, ensuring high efficiency and alignment with dynamic market trends.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python and SQL for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Experienced with data manipulation frameworks such as PySpark and Pandas in distributed environments.
- Skilled in leveraging cloud platforms like AWS for scalable ML workflows and deployment.
- Hands-on expertise in training deep neural networks using PyTorch, with configuration management via Hydra and experiment tracking.
- Proven experience in building and deploying end-to-end machine learning services in production.
- Strong understanding of key Ad Tech performance metrics including CPI, CPA, CPC, and ROAS.
- In-depth knowledge of sequential recommendation systems for personalized ad targeting.
- Solid grasp of Transformer architectures and their applications in content ranking and user behavior modeling.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in a product-focused environment.
- 2+ years of experience in AdTech (or related field).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
