About Role:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a solid background in leading complex IT initiatives from concept to delivery. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end IT projects involving infrastructure, software development, and systems integration. You will ensure successful execution through structured planning, methodology selection, and effective collaboration with stakeholders, engineers, and business leads. 

• Own full project lifecycle of IT initiatives (e.g., system implementations, migrations, software rollouts) 

• Translate business needs into actionable project plans and technical deliverables 

• Oversee day-to-day execution of projects across internal and vendor teams 

• Define clear scope, objectives, and KPIs in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders 

• Build and manage project plans, resource assignments, and delivery timelines 

• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining project quality standards 

• Apply Scrum or Kanban for iterative software delivery and fast feedback loops 

• Use Waterfall or hybrid models for structured technology deployments and compliance-driven work 

• Evaluate and adapt methodology based on project complexity, timeline, and technical constraints 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and senior leadership 

• Lead regular sprint reviews, status updates, steering committee meetings 

• Manage expectations, escalate risks, and ensure alignment across technical and business teams 

• Proactively identify risks and dependencies across systems and teams 

• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans 

Monitor performance and make real-time course corrections as needed

• 5+ years of experience managing mid-to-large scale IT projects 

• Proven success in delivering complex enterprise solutions involving multiple stakeholders 

• Hands-on experience with both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall methodologies 

• Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and SDLC processes 

• Strong proficiency in Russian, English, and Azerbaijani (both written and verbal) 

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certifications (e.g., PSM I, PSPO) 
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or ClickUp 

• Monday to Friday schedule from 09:00 to 18:00 with a hybrid work mode available.
